Chill atmosphere, good selection of beers, and good service. They have amazing outdoor space and a fire pit for the colder evenings. A great place to eat and meet up with friends and family.

What is wrong with me? I have lived in the area for almost 10 years and I had never eaten @ Grinder's until today. When I picked up my order I was marveling @ all the beers on tap. I got the BLT and my husband the Philly. Onion rings and homemade chips were delicious and my sandwich was really good. I see they have Cornhole in the back. Can't wait to return!

Great beer and sandwich selection. Pizza is super expensive. You can sink $30 in a pie easily. Bartenders are friendly.

Great place with great food and alcohol! Had an open mic spot with great service. Always busy though so order ahead if possible for pick up

Good food, lots of options. $5 margarita was worth it. Almost too many options definitely have to try it again sometime. I heard the calzones are really good, but didn't try one this round.

Classic hangout with soul! When you get there, the food is great, but the atmosphere - it's like I'm transported somewhere else. So cool, and the staff are very friendly.

Had Mixon sandwiches roast beef and plenty tasty. enjoyed my daughter and Ray's company sitting out on patio under shade of lined trees. Little warm but when clouds and wind came up we were cooler. Lots of families inside and out.

My husband has been on a diet for 4 months with no potatoes,rice, pasta or bread and felt A Grinders cheesesteak was worth breaking the diet. He said it was delicious. My pizza was a tad on the cold side but still had good taste. The Caesar salad wasn’t to my liking. Good service. Friendly staff. Eclectic crowd.

Really liked this place. Drove by it a million times and never ate there. Lots of beer selections and good food. I've only had their cheeseburger and chips and I'll definitely be back for more. Definitely recommend it. 5 🌟

We went there for pizza but decided to get sandwiches instead. Everything was really good, cooked well and tasted great. I had grilled chicken sandwich with pesto wife had the BLT which sounds bland/boring but they have it dressed up different than I have ever seen. She said it was fantastic. Kids had grilled cheese and chicken tenders. The tenders were good and the grilled cheese was very good with ample cheese(s)! I do want to come back and get the NY style pizza. I'll updated once I do that's what the majority of people in the restaurant ordered. The only thing that was not great was the cookie dough custard from "foos". It was either old or just not very good; texture was gritty and flavor kinda bland almost as if it was freezer burned. Sheridan's, Freddie's or Culver's puts it to shame. While that was disappointing I didn't go there for dessert so I didn't factor it into the rating...

Was my first time at this location. Food at this location is just as good as other location. We we're blessed with a beautiful September weather so could eat outside on the patio. Didn't go inside so no feedback there. Food was awesome and our server did great job.

Must visit establishment of Kansas City!!! Great food and a very wide selection of drinks to choose from. Atmosphere in this place was was great!!! Outdoor patio vibe is even better with a selection of yard games to choose from.

A favorite place to eat in Lenexa. Indoor, outdoor, and bar seating. Excellent selection of food and beverages, especially a large beer menu. Excellent and friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Very clean and inviting atmosphere.

I used to love this place but I parked on the end one night 10/23/19 by the kitchen and saw 600+ cockroaches. Never again. I loved this place, I have circled in Red where they were. I heard a crunch on my shoe, turned on my lights, and there were hundreds. My family was with me, as we used to frequent this place once a week.

Grinders is one of my go-to food spots. Probably because the food is good and I live nearby. Their sandwich game is strong. The Cali BLT is among the best sandwiches I’ve ever eaten; the candied bacon is magical. Sub the potato chips for tots and you’ve got a solid meal. The pizza is alright; you can find better. If you like super thin New York crust and light sauce, this might be your game. The calzones are pretty solid, but the Cali BLT always draws me away from it. And tots. They sometimes have a good breakfast burrito on weekends. Like all restaurants, sometimes the food and service lacks a bit, but generally, it’s a winner.

Great cheese steak with cheese wiz like in Philly and smashed burger. We also enjoyed the peanut butter whiskey shot. First time here and we will be back to try a wide range of items that sound delicious!

Phenomenal feel. Lonely indoor seating and great outdoor seating. Fantastic food. Only downside is the parking lot is a bit small and easy to miss. But overall would recommend.

This place is always GREAT! Two of us shared The South Philly Sammich and an 18 inch Thin crust pizza with NO SAUCE, Pepperoni, Sausage, Ground Beef, Jalapeno's, Onions, Peppers and Black Olives. Yummy!

The Stonewall is great! Their food is very tasty. They're well known for delicious NY style pizza. Very good draft beer selection especially among local breweries. Best of all, excellent service!

The pizza and Philly cheese steaks are great. The atmosphere is very good for a Joco bar too.

I wasn't impressed at all. I tried the fried mushrooms and B.L.T. Mushrooms didn't taste seasoned, and the sandwich was flat not a lot of anything. I will come back to try the pizza maybe and give this place one more shot. Service was good.

Made an order with Postmates, and the delivery driver called me and said Grinders won't allow Postmates drivers to enter their restaurant!! Then why do you even have yourself listed in the app to begin with?? And when I called to see what was going on the Grinders guy said we do not do order with Postmates and just hung up! Rude behavior and I feel bad for the postmates driver who went up all the way to this restaurant to pickup the food.

Great beer selection, excellent service, and delicious food. This building has a lot of character, plenty of space, and lots of screens if you want to watch a game.I was a little disappointed that there aren't many vegetarian options on the menu but I was still able to enjoy some pizza and a few appetizers. And the pizza was fantastic!I'll be back for sure, for beer if nothing else!

Fantastic atmosphere, great selection of food options especially if you're looking for cheese whiz :) The staff is also very friendly. My family can't wait for their summer activities to start (fire pit, weekend movies outside, live music, etc.).

Fun atmosphere great philly Cheesesteak

I'm from out of town. Stopped in on a whim and I am happy that I did. Great food, excellent beverage selection, good wing sauce for purchase, and a super friendly stall. I'll be back next time I'm in town.

Probably the best "hole in the wall" bar/pizza place I've been to. The employees are nice and friendly. The decor is definitely different and unique. There's outside seating for the warmer weather

The place itself is very cool looking and loved looking at the decor, had a good vibe, staff was great. Tried a philly cheesesteak and homemade chips. Sandwich had good flavor but a lot of fatty gristle in the meat, kind of deterred me from the flavor. Homemade chips were cold so did not care for them. Would go back though but would try something else from the menu.

Have a five star review for being awesome, having good food and cute waitresses. This place has some really good hot sauce too.Edit: Id hate to reduce my previous 5 star rating but I called to check seating and the person on the phone was rude as all get out, had an attitude and hung up on me. Tragic.

Bartender (Golden, I believe) was awesome. Great food and even better beer selection.

This is my favorite place for a relaxed, fun environment. Its always a good place for a quick beer and some of the best pizza. Service is always great and quick. It has that unique feeling to it as well.

This is a great little cozy spot which is basically an institution in Lenexa. The staff was super friendly and we got a nice table in a back corner. I wasn't drinking that evening but their beer list per the board was pretty impressive. Everyone in our party had something different from their pretty diverse menu and it was all fantastic. Would definitely go back if I was in the area.
